A Little Bit About Kiddography From the very beginning I've always felt that I can do anything -- I'm wrong. Still I can't shake that feeling and it gets me into a lot of trouble. So when Paper Tiger asked me if I'd like to have them do a book of my art I said yes, but I insisted on doing the whole thing myself. Before long I found myself with what seemed like insurmountable problems. The deadline approached with terrible speed while files became corrupted, the format was changed and my regular illustration work began to pile up a bit too fast. I wrote and rewrote, I did new art and reworked some older art, I designed and redesigned pages -- the plan was ambitious and I felt I'd bitten off more than I could chew. Fortunately I got a lot of help from a lot of people and in particular my editors and my wife. The good news is the book is done and I'm happy with most of it. Copies are printed. It can be bought. I had a great time doing it and I'd do it all over again. But, on the next book (next book?), I won't let it get so hectic. Click on the cover to see pages and keep clicking on those to see more pages. This is a quick group of examples. Later I'll add some text and a few links where you can buy the book. Bud Plant (budplant.com) will have copies with a signed color bookplate that has new art that I did especially for them.
